How the ABO flashcards work
Basic planEach session deals 20 cards from the same question bank as the practice tests. The front of a card is an exam-style question. Tap it to see the correct answer and a short explanation, then rate yourself Again, Got it or Easy. At the end you see how many of the 20 you knew (Got it plus Easy).
Pick a certification track, then either one category or a mixed deck. ABO Basic has 11 categories, from ocular anatomy and ophthalmic lenses to ANSI standards and dispensing, and its mixed deck is weighted the way the NOCE exam weights its topics. Your running totals (cards reviewed, and how many you rated Easy, Got it and Again) are saved in this browser for each track. Every new session is a fresh shuffle.
Flashcards come with every paid plan, starting with Basic. Each track needs a plan that includes it:
- ABO Basic: Basic, Advanced, NCLE or Complete plan
- ABO Advanced: Advanced or Complete plan
- NCLE: NCLE or Complete plan
